The town of Donzère is a lovely little town with all amenities. You are close to Montélimar, a thriving little town with a castle worth seeing. The old town with its cobbled streets and the magnificent town park invite you to stroll through the shady alleyways. The Drôme also offers wonderful natural landscapes. Between Donzère and Châteauneuf-du-Rhône, the high cliffs offer views of the Rhône and the Robinet suspension bridge. Take the tourist route for the famous AOC Côtes du Rhône wines through magnificent mountain villages or the spectacular Gorges de l'Ardèche to the Pont d'Arc and the Chauvet cave. The Saou forest is ideal for hiking and discovering the unique flora and fauna. Grignan, home to the magnificent Renaissance castle of the Marquise de Sévigné, is the venue for festivals and exhibitions. There are also exciting excursion destinations for children, such as the crocodile farm, the lively fortress of Mornas or Lake Pignedoré. Here you can also try out water sports (without a motor), swim in the lake, play various games and use the sports fields.
