The area is perfect for anglers, as the lake is home to pike, perch and trout. Diernäs Strand is a very family-friendly area with calm waters out to the Little Belt. Hadersleben is close by and offers a charming old town with an imposing cathedral church. Further south you reach Graasten Slot, where the royal family gathers in summer.
