Bignasco village nestled in the green at the foot of the valley's mountains.
From the adjacent village of Cevio you can admire historical structures, churches and works of art. Continuing along the road at the top you will find Bosco Gurin for the winter season ski area for alpine skiing, and cross-country skiing.
In spring, you can hike through nature on trails to the alp.

Bignasco offers wonderful places to spend a day hiking, relaxing by the river with bathing places or a refreshment at the waterfall with the possibility of using the natural swimming pool, visiting the historical parts of the village as it was the terminus of the train that ran through the valley.

Beyond Bignasco, many other areas can be visited: Diga - Mogno with its church and historic houses.

The large area is located in the Valle Maggia and the old valleys, so you can enjoy panoramic views of the mountains from which you can cycle.
Skiing and cross-country skiing area, ski schools in the village of Bosco Gurin located at 1504 metres above sea level, offers a wide choice of trails at high altitudes in summer.
Mogno is home to the famous church of the architect Mario Motta. On the way up to Val Bavona from San Carlo there is a funicular railway that takes you to visit the dam of Lake Robiei. Beautiful walks for nature lovers can be enjoyed on alternative routes with varying degrees of difficulty and splendid views. Fantastic places along the river such as the large waterfall of Bignasco. Much more can be discovered.
