Bjerregård is located to the south of the fishing port of Hvide Sande, with the North Sea on one side and Ringkøbing Fjord on the other. Here, it is impossible not to be moved by the harsh but undeniably beautiful countryside. During the summer, the fjord is highly popular with surfers, while the entire coastline is ideal for swimming, sunbathing and other beach activities. Anglers will find good opportunities to land a catch both on the coastline and at the region's many 'put and take' lakes. From Hvide Sande it is possible to take a fishing trip out into the North Sea, usually with an experienced skipper at the helm who will know the best places to fish. This region is also popular with walkers throughout the year.
