The house has spacious rooms and a walk-in closet for storing clothes and suitcases. A large, insulated and heated annex has its own kitchen and two sleeping places. In addition to the electric heater, there is a pellet stove for low-cost heating. This place is wonderful for a memorable and enjoyable holiday. Explore the beautiful landscape of Hejsager with its green fields, valleys and forests, and fjords that flow into the Little Belt. The nearby town of Haderslev is a quaint area dominated by an impressive cathedral. "Haderslev Dampark" in the city centre can be explored on foot. The Gråsten Castle in the south is the summer palace of the royal family. The city of Sønderborg is located on the island, in the southwest corner of Jutland and the Flensburg Fjord. The city has much to offer: a lovely waterfront with cafes and restaurants, the Sønderborg Castle and the Dybbøl History Centre on the outskirts. The city is close to the Universe Amusement Park on Als where one can experience the forces of nature.
