Modern holiday house in a mountainous location near the Carinthian lakes landscape

The idyllically situated holiday house in rural surroundings is just a short drive from the Italian and Slovenian borders.

The site of around 150m² has a fenced garden (perfect for dogs) for exclusive use with a terrace. Enjoy the quiet, sunny location from the terrace with seating. Families with pets should note that the site is not fully enclosed. The balcony on the upper floor affords a fantastic view over the mountainous landscape. The balcony can only be accessed through the wood storage room and is not furnished. Two private car parking spaces are available, one under the carport and one outdoors. 60 meters from the house there is another fenced area of 350 m² for dogs.

The fully heated holiday accommodation provides around 70m² of living space, comprising a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining space with an adjoining living room, a bedroom and a bathroom. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed 180cm wide. A child’s bed (80 x 200cm) or a cot (60 x 120cm) can be provided free of charge. There is also a sofa bed for two people (160 x 200cm) in the living room. The wood-burning stove with free firewood exudes cosiness in the dining space. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. Wireless Internet access is available free of charge throughout the accommodation. Above the upper floor there is an attic with a wood storage room and various tools. There is a washing machine for use free of charge in the owner’s house just a few metres away.

Shops such as a baker, butcher and grocery shops, as well as restaurants and train connections are within a radius of 5km. The nearest bus stop is about 200 metres away. There are numerous lakes around the house, including Pressegger See, Faaker See and Wörthersee. The Kärnten Therme thermal baths in Warmbad is about a 20-minute drive away. The old towns of Villach and Hermagor invite you to pay a visit. There are many hiking and climbing possibilities in the surrounding Alps. The location near the Italian and Slovenian borders provides a perfect starting point for various activities and trips. Discover the imposing Karawanken or the autonomous region Fruili-Venezia-Giulia in the north-east of Italy with its pilgrimage destination Monte Lussari. In winter, many ski resorts such as the Nassfeld nature arena, Gerlitzen or the three-border region near Arnoldstein, all within a maximum drive of half an hour, invite you to have fun on the pistes.

    “Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit diesem Ferienhaus. Es ist dort sehr schön. Alle Nachbarn die ringsum wohnen, sind alle sehr freundlich und man hat seine Ruhe. Man kann sich sogar die Semmeln ins Ferienhaus liefern lassen und die sind super lecker. Wlan Empfang in dieser Unterkunft ist super und auch die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber ist perfekt. Super Hundefreundlich und es ist eine schöne Gegend.”

    “Super woning met omheinde tuin. Ideaal voor met onze twee teckels. Rustige omgeving en prachtig in de buurt van Italië en Slovenië. Huisje is netjes schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De eigenaresse heel behulpzaam als je haar nodig hebt maar ook afwezig als je haar niet nodig hebt. We hebben het top gehad!”
