Here you will find a spacious and comfortably furnished living room, with the large windows giving you the feeling of being very close to nature. You can lie on the sofa or gather around the dining table while enjoying the beautiful view of the green garden. Outside you can enjoy your morning coffee, a good glass of wine or delicacies from the grill on the wooden terrace on warm summer evenings. The old tree population, allows a special privacy in the garden.

The island of Als has a coastline of 165 km with beautiful beaches, where the light green beech forests extend down to the beach. And there are many beaches here, you will always find a quiet place, all to yourself. Children can also splash in the gentle waves and romp on the beach here. "Als" is known for its mild climate and as a peaceful oasis of Denmark. You are not far from Sønderborg here, enjoy the café and harbor there. On the nearby peninsula Kegnæs there are also excellent bathing beaches, to these the distance is not great. Dunes and depressions invite to beautiful stays on them at any time. Children can collect shells and adults can engage in fishing. Fishing grounds are good, which your family will surely appreciate. Salmon, cod, horn fish and plaice are caught. Old mills can also be discovered in the area and especially Augustenborg Castle, built in 1770, which tells about the life of the ducal family in an exhibition. Near the castle is also a castle park worth seeing.
