Situated on the edge of an incredibly picturesque medieval village, in the heart of the stunning Istrian countryside, the beautiful Villa Bacula offers attractive accommodation, fabulous surroundings and spectacular views. The house is divided into two independent two-storey units, each with two charming bedrooms on the upper floor and a bright, cosy living room with fully equipped kitchen and dining area on the lower floor, making this villa an ideal location for large families or groups. The villa has been lovingly designed with warmth and charm using local materials and traditional techniques. Although in keeping with tradition through stone walls, beamed ceilings and solid wood furniture, modern amenities such as air conditioning, modern fixtures and beautifully appointed bathrooms provide a comfortable rural retreat with all the benefits of modern technology. The same careful attention went into the outdoor space. Spacious lawned gardens dotted with interesting pieces such as old farm ploughs surround the house and extend down to the enticing pool, adorned with mature olive trees, flower bushes and fragrant plants, all with gorgeous views from every angle. The large loggia below the main house is furnished with a large dining table and an authentic built-in barbecue for delicious al fresco dining, inspired by the abundance of fresh produce from this region of Istria. Your little ones will enjoy their own playground and there is even a pitch suitable for football, badminton and volleyball, as well as 3 bicycles to complete the action. Villa Bacula offers real peace, seclusion and privacy, where unspoilt nature can truly be enjoyed.Villa Bacula is situated in a peaceful area, with magnificent views of vineyards, hamlets and farmhouses scattered over the picturesque rolling hills, with the beautiful Butoniga Lake in the background. However, the proud medieval town of Pazin is only 7 kilometres away. Built on steep cliffs above the magnificent, deep gorge, Pazin has always been the subject of stories, legends and interest. The famous writer Jules Verne was inspired by this unusual play of nature, as well as many other Croatian writers, perhaps you will find some inspiration. Pazin boasts the best-preserved fortress in Istria, from which the whole of Istria was once ruled, today a museum where, among other things, old Istrian bells are preserved. The river Pazinica sinks below it, and its secrets are still kept by the famous Pazin gorge, which, with its impressive lakes, is still a challenge for many speleologists. The whole area is rich in beautiful natural masterpieces: Waterfalls, streams and articulated relief. However, it offers much more than just beautiful nature. Apart from the abundance of historical and cultural sights, excellent gastronomic offer of traditionally prepared dishes, excellent Malvasia and local brandies, Pazin and its surroundings offer a rich and active holiday. Sports and adventure enthusiasts will find a rich source of interesting activities here: Ziplining, cycling, numerous hiking trails surrounded by beautiful natural phenomena and old, almost forgotten church and castle buildings. Free climbing is also popular here, as well as exciting speleological excursions and freshwater fishing, while the whole attractive area can also be observed on horseback. The attractive Adriatic coast is easily accessible along very good roads.
