The gîte is located within the Domaine de Barthe, a former wine estate located in the Aude valley between two famous wine regions of Corbière and Minervois. It is surrounded by vineyards, one kilometer from the villages of Douzens and Blomac and 2 km from the largest town of Capendu with many amenities, the domain is located a few hundred meters from the river Aude. At only 50 kilometers from the coast, it is in a true Mediterranean climate zone. The City of Carcassonne is 21 km away. From the gîte, many walks are available for you. The Domaine de Barthe includes a set of 4 gîtes each with private outdoor spaces. Common room on the domain with billiards, table soccer, table tennis, library and WIFI connection. Common swimming pool of 14m X6 m with beach secured by a fence. Outdoor games area common to all the accommodations, with petanque ground, barbecue area with garden furniture. Possibility of laundry service 5€ per machine of 6kg.
The Minervois gîte is a 3 bedroom gîte offering 90 m² of comfortable surfac for a maximum of 6 people. The first floor includes an American kitchen, a dining area and a living room. A double bedroom (1 bed 140) on the first floor. Upstairs, 2 other bedrooms (1 bed 140 and 2 beds 90) and the bathroom with shower, bath and separate toilet. Outside is a patio with table, chairs and barbecue.
