Villa Cavall de Mar enjoys a beautiful, peaceful location at the foot of the Muntanya de Calicant, part of the Serra de Llevant nature reserve. Almond, carob and fig trees grow in the landscape. Flocks of sheep are also part of the picture and sometimes you can hear the sound of small bells in the distance. There are no direct neighbours here. The villa is situated on a single-lane road with hardly any traffic. The front is surrounded by a fence, while the back offers an open landscape so that you can immediately enjoy the panorama. The name of the villa comes from the seahorse (Cavall de Mar), which is depicted as a mosaic on the floor of the pool. There is a spacious courtyard on the south side of the villa, which is ideal for playing. A ladder leads to the beautiful pool. The modern cleaning system avoids the use of chlorine in the pool water, making it naturally more hygienic and safer. There is an outdoor shower on the wall of the house. You can also rinse it off quickly if you feel the heat. Comfortable sun loungers invite you to relax and sunbathe. Comfortable chairs and a dining table invite you onto a beautiful, spacious terrace where you can unwind and enjoy the breathtaking view of the landscape. Here you can greet the day in a cosy atmosphere and end the evening with flowing drinks on a poetic note. This is a place where cosy barbecue evenings with delicious regional specialities are a must. You can also enjoy the original outdoor kitchen, where you will find a fantastic charcoal barbecue.

The house is at ground level and offers two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a combined living/dining room with an open-plan kitchen and a laundry room. Double-glazed windows and folding shutters provide protection from the Mediterranean sun. The living/dining room with its natural stone wall is extremely rustic and inviting. The comfortable armchairs and sofas invite you to relax, perhaps with a good book. On chilly days, you can even use the fireplace to warm up and enjoy the cosy light of the fire. The satellite TV is also conveniently positioned here, so that nothing stands in the way of cosy TV evenings. The massive dining table nearby invites you to relax and eat indoors. The kitchen is just a few steps away, so it's a short walk to set up and clear the table. The kitchen area is loosely enclosed by an elegant, walled counter and is fully equipped. Here you will find a fridge with freezer compartment, hob, oven, sink and dishwasher. The bedrooms welcome guests in a cosy atmosphere and offer the best conditions for a deep and restful sleep. The bathrooms are modern and have towel radiators. You don't need to pack a hairdryer: one is available in the house and you are free to use it.

The highest point of the Serra de Llevant mountain range is 560 metres above sea level. A path leads up to the 450 metre high Muntanya de Calicant: after this climb, you will be rewarded with a fantastic view over Mallorca. On a clear day, you can even see as far as Menorca. The bay of Alcúdia is less than 20 minutes from the villa, while the beaches on the east coast are only a little further away. Every Thursday morning you can experience the weekly market in Sant Llorenc. The extremely quiet and elegantly furnished Villa Cavall de Mar is located on a spacious estate between Artà and Sant Llorenc, on the north-east side of the island. Sant Llorenc is around 8 kilometres away, Artà 9 kilometres and Manacor around 12 kilometres. The car journey to Palma de Mallorca airport takes around 50 minutes.
