    “Der Ort ist relativ klein, aber ist gut auch mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen. Der Bäcker hat sehr gutes Brot und Kuchen und kannte uns schon nach einigen Tagen. Zum Einkaufen und zum Strand sind wir mit dem Auto nach Montalivet-les-Bains gefahren, ca. 15 Minuten. Der Strand dort ist sehr schön, nicht menschenleer, aber man findet immer noch einen Platz. Die Strände werden bewacht, es gibt Duschen und Toiletten.

    Im Ort selber findet vormittags immer ein Markt statt, auf dem man herrlich einheimische Spezialitäten kaufen kann. Er ist natürlich auch touristisch ausgerichtet, doch kann man dort sehr gut Austern oder andere Dinge günstig essen, sowie einen Wein aus der Region dazu genießen. Radtouren kann man in der Umgebung machen sowie Ausflüge in die Weinanbaugebiete und nach Bordeaux.”
